As a mother of five grown children and grandmother to nine, I’ve spent more than 20 years working closely with children and supporting their learning. I remain committed to the latest educational and reading strategies so I can continue helping young readers succeed.
I am a dedicated reading tutor with Varsity Tutors and BookNook. Before becoming a tutor, I honed my teaching skills as a Special Educator for kindergarten and first-grade students in public schools. Earlier in my career, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in an Autism Special Education classroom.
I hold two Master’s degrees—one in Special Education and one in General Education—and have always dreamed of helping rising readers everywhere build confidence and joy in reading. Through online tutoring and specialized reading practice, I’m proud to make that dream a reality.
